one of about 300 drawings I have from old pal Alex Toth, the greatest comic book artist of all time. For obvious reasons, this one is extra special.

This is the way I've always imagined Toth would look like.. I've even heard stories that he dragged his weekly Trash to the curb, wearing his bathrobe & slippers.

Again, I can't even imagine what it'd be like to receive stuff like this. I always liked seeing it when Alex drew himself.

ReplyDeleteOh thats great! I saw you on the Toth doc on the Space Ghost DVD. I never got to meet him but I did write him in his later years.
